Personal use only. Books provided by Royal Book Foundation are intended solely for the personal, non-commercial use of the recipient. Resale of any book received through this programme is strictly prohibited. You are welcome to share the book with friends, family members, or donate it to a public library, provided no fee is charged.
Content responsibility. Royal Book Foundation does not review, censor, or restrict the content of books requested. By submitting a request, you confirm that you are of an appropriate age to read the material, or that the request is being made by a parent or guardian on behalf of a minor. The Foundation accepts no liability for the content of any book requested or delivered.
Selection and fulfilment. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a book will be delivered. All requests are reviewed and fulfilled at the sole discretion of Royal Book Foundation, subject to availability of funds and resources.
Book price guidance. Requests for books priced under ₹500 are generally approved without additional review. For more expensive books or boxed sets, we ask that you provide a thoughtful explanation of why you wish to read the book and how it will benefit you personally. This helps us allocate our limited resources fairly and ensure that every book we send finds an engaged reader.
Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate and complete contact and delivery information. The Foundation is not responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Privacy. Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your book request. We will not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
One book per month. Each person may submit a maximum of one book request per calendar month. Duplicate or excessive requests within the same month may be declined.
Textbooks and exam guides excluded. This programme is intended to support general reading and a love of books. Textbooks, exam preparation guides, competitive exam materials, and academic course books are not eligible for requests.
